PHASES OF CARE

Expect our best to make your experience easy and comfortable. We understand that healthcare can be a bit confusing but with a bit of education and coaching, we will help to comfortably guide you along your individual health program. Our phases of care will bring to light a better understanding of what to expect from us when you walk through our doors.

Day I & II: Health Prescription

Day I & II: Developing your individual health care plan requires our dedication to understand how we can best serve you.  On Day 1, our initial exam will focus on your history and goals of care.  Through various non-invasive but technologically advanced exams, we will collect vital information and markers that will help our doctor determine your wellness prescriptions.  On Day II, we will  continue the exam with the functional movement assessment so we can learn how your posture and movement patterns are affected by your symptoms and/or environmental stress. Shortly after, the results of all your exams will be explained by Dr. Joe and along with his recommendations for care that will set you on the path to better performance and optimal health.

Phase I: Relief and Mobilization

At this phase, our goal is to move your pain to relief through chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue mobilization.  Pain can be tricky and results may vary depending on the length of time you have been dealing with the symptoms.  The Chiropractic adjustments focus on the function and performance of the nervous system connecting the body from joints, tissues, muscles, and even immune health.  Each adjustment can provide relief by decreasing inflammation and creating muscular balance allowing for relaxation as well as strength.   Our Soft Tissue techniques combine instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release technique, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation which will optimize your movement and support your chiropractic adjustments.

Phase II: Corrective Care

Pain relief was just the beginning of your path to optimal health.  Often, pain creates unwanted or even unnoticeable movement establishing dysfunctional patterns  that continue to leave us at risk for repeatable injuries. After restoring body mechanics, our corrective care plan will strengthen your movement by correcting the dysfunctional movement patterns.  Simply put, our goal here is to keep you out of pain by moving better through continued chiropractic adjustments and adding neuromuscular re-education / corrective exercise.

Phase III: Functional Movement + Wellness Care

Living through a wellness lifestyle means caring for the engine that drives your health.  Pain free doesn’t mean that caring for your spine needs to stop.  The nervous system flows from the brain through the spine and to the body, but subluxation patterns are caused by environmental stresses acting upon our bodily systems which downgrade the system wide connections.  Since our body loves to plateau which leads back to phase I, it is highly important to keep the body in adaptation by continued bi-monthly adjustments to stay subluxation free and functional movement strengthening.  Our functional movement training programs will continue to challenge but most importantly strengthen the body systems
